The 2019 WinterFest Medallion was found shortly before 11 am on Saturday, January 19th. Taylor Johnson , from Blaine
Minnesota (far right) along with friend, Jill Kraemer of St. Louis Park, MN (center) worked together to find the hidden treasure which was located near the DNR boat landing in Spicer. Presenting the winners with the $500 cash prize, is Todd Erickson (far
left), Vice President of Granite Community Bank who sponsored the Medallion Hunt. This past weekend was the official “start” of the WinterFest Celebration which included numerous outdoor activities, including mini golf, kick sled demonstrations, bon fires,
official lighting of the 2019 Ice Castle, fireworks and culminating in a first ever Fire On Ice Dance on Green Lake with the “Dam Jammers” band providing the entertainment. Festivities continue thru mid February. More details can be seen on the Commercial Club Website www.spicermn.com or by visiting the Facebook page.
We at the Spicer Commercial Club want to welcome you to Spicer.
